Bamber and Lynn split up in both Cadillac V-Series

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA announced its drivers lineups for its first season as a factory Cadillac squad. We already announced the six drivers for both Cadillac V-Series.R in FIA WEC: three from JOTA Team (Button, Nato and Stevens), 2023 and 2024 Cadillac Racing drivers in FIA WEC (Bamber and Lynn) and IMSA Cadillac Racing Bourdais. combinations for its pair of Hypercar class V-Series.Rs ahead of the 2025 FIA WEC season.

Former #2 Cadillac Racing works drivers Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn will be split up among the two Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA entries.

As expected, former Spa-Francorchamps 6 Hours winning #12 JOTA drivers Norman Nato and Will Stevens will compete in the #12 entry. They’ll be joined by Alex Lynn.

Sebastien Bourdais, who already completed the duo in #2 Cadillac at Lusail, will join Jenson Button and Earl Bamber in the #38.

“We have six extremely strong drivers with a combination of experience and fresh eyes on the Cadillac program,” said Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA team principal, Dieter Gass.

“Each of these drivers brings something unique to the table, and as a team, our job was to establish which combinations made the most sense to maximize the overall strengths of the group. While character and personality play a big role in team dynamics, driving style and preferences were additionally key factors in determining who would be paired in each car. We took our time over this process, and we’re really looking forward to seeing what both trios can achieve.”

Season starts February 28.

The 2025 FIA WEC season will kick off on February 28, 2025, with the inaugural race at Lusail International Circuit for the 1812 km of Qatar and will conclude on 8 November in Bahrain. The 93rd Le Mans 24 Hours will take place on 14-15 June.
