2024 Twelve Hours of Sebring entry list analysis
The 72nd running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring is the second stop on the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The 12 Hours of Sebring entry list holds a hefty field of 58 cars split in four series classes – Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) will be competing on the former airfield at Sebring International Raceway.
Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) entries
Three drivers changes comparing to Daytona (considering the Michelin Endurance Cup base line):
Fred Makowiecki will be reinforcing the #6 Porsche 963 to support Mathieu Jaminet and Nick Tandy,
Matt Campbell will ride on #7 alongside Felipe Nasr and Dane Cameron;
Julien Andlauer will be the third driver in the #99 Proton Competition Porsche 963 with Bruni and Picariello at his side.
The premier GTP category sees the debut of the #63 Lamborghini SC63 entered by Lamborghini Iron Lynx for Matteo Cairoli, Romain Grosjean and Andrea Caldarelli.
Pipo Derani and Cadillac are heading to Sebring to clinch a fifth victory:
Derani won in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2023,
Cadillac won with Action Express Racing in 2019 and 2023, Chip Ganassi Racing in 2022 and JDC-Miller MotorSports in 2021.
