Vanthoor celebrates 1st time in Sebring with pole
For his first race at Sebring International Raceway Dries Vanthoor won the pole for the 73rd annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in a shortened GTP Qualifying session. The session was red flagged as Jack Aitken didn’t manage to go further than turn three with his #31 Cadillac Whelen.
#24 Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 in pole
Vanthoor clinched his second straight GTP pole with a 1:47.091. Together with Philipp Eng, and Kevin Magnussen they will lead the pack in their #24 Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 with the aim to renew the BMW first Sebring win 50 years ago.

Blomqvist was 25 milliseconds short for pole
Tom Blomqvist was second of the session in the #60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing ARX-06 with a 1:47.116.

Both Porsche Penske Motorsport in second row
Both red-white-black Porsche 963 will start from second row as Rolex 24 at Daytona winner Felipe Nasr in the #7 did set a 1:47.522, 0.076 better than Mathieu Jaminet in sister #6.

Neel Jani fifth with customer Porsche
A third Porsche 963 will start from the inside of row 3 as Neel Jani in the #5 Proton Competition Porsche turned in a great lap to go fifth-fastest in 1:48.074.

Steven Thomas took the pole of LMP2 class with a 1:51.804 in the #11 TDS Racing ORECA 07 confirming his teammate M. Jensen fastest lap in combined practices
