24 Hours of Le Mans: Test day - Hypercars
The ranking of the test day is not significant for the 24 Hours of Le Mans as teams are working on the setup of their cars. Ferrari did lead both sessions and Porsche has its three factory cars in the top 6.

Despite qualifying sixth, Bourdais and van der Zande won the 2 hours 40’ race in the #01 Cadillac V-Series.R at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca after taking the lead in lap 71 for the 32 remaining laps.
Laguna Seca: Porsche tops qualifications
📷 © Courtesy of Porsche. Matt Campbell dominated the qualifying in Laguna Seca at the wheel of the #7 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 followed closely by Mathieu Jaminet with sister #6. Both Porsche 963 will start from first row the 2-hour, 40-minute MOTUL Course de Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Porsche 911 GT3 R also dominated GTD and GTD PRO classes.

Acura is looking for a fifth consecutive vistory in a row this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Last year winners, Albuquerque and Taylor, are currently third in the Drivers Weathertech Sportscar Championship, 20 points behind Tandy and Jaminet (Porsche #6).
Cadillac V-Series.R in IMSA and WEC
After a strong debut at the 24 hours of Daytona where the three Cadillacs ended third, fourth and fifth, Cadillac Racing is leading the IMSA manufacturers’ championship. Alexander Sims and Pipo Derani are second in the drivers’ championship just one point behind the Porsche #6 team. In WEC, the #2 Cadillac is fourth just two points behind Porsche.
Porsche 963 in IMSA and WEC
Porsche Penske Motorsport is third in both IMSA and WEC manufacturers championships still in contention in IMSA but far behind in points in WEC. After suffering technical issues in Daytona, both Porsche 963 were lacking performance in WEC and suffering technical issues. In IMSA, both cars were in contention for a double at Sebring and Porsche 963 #6 clinched its first victory at Long Beach in IMSA.

Porsche preview Long Beach
The Porsche Penske Motorsport switches from long distance to the shortest race of the season of just 100 minutes long. At Long Beach, the two Porsche 963 face their first street course. Four Porsche customer teams take on the competition in the GTD-Pro and GTD classes with five Porsche 911 GT3 R.
van der Zande previews Long Beach
Renger van der Zande, co-driver with Sebastien Bourdais of the No. 01 Cadillac V-Series.R in the Grand Touring Prototype class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, met with the media via Zoom conference to preview the April 14-15 race in Long Beach, California.
WEC Hypercars new entries
Two Hypercars have been added to the Hypercar entry list for the upcoming TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps (27-29 April): Cadillac V-Series.R and Porsche 963. Both teams add a third car each for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 100th anniversary.
