Akkodis ASP ahead of Team WRT in GTWCE
Akkodis ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Marciello and Boguslavskiy leads the GTWCE overall and Sprint Cups ahead of the Hockenheim round. With Gounon, they lead both Endurance Cups (Team and Driver). Team WRT who took the three Team titles (overall, Endurance and Sprint) and two Driver titles (Endurance and Sprint) last year is second in overall and Sprint Cups but lost any hope of winning the Endurance Cups.
Rowe Racing might lose its P3 overall
Hockenheim will be the third round (out of 5) of the FGTWCE Sprint Cups and the seventh round (out of 10) of the FGTWCE. Rowe Racing (third overall and second in Endurance Cups) will not be in Hockenheim.
Akkodis ASP and Team WRT with different means
Akkodis ASP Team has only one Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO (#88) to score points with Marciello and Boguslavskiy in both overall and Sprint Cups whereas Team WRT has two BMW M4 GT3 entries with Vanthoor-Weerts in #32 and Rossi-Martin in #46.

There are still 3 sprint races (35 points maximum for each) to run and one endurance (26 points). Rowe Racing (third overall and second in Endurance Cups) does not participate in the sprint races. Hockenheim will be a good occasion for both leaders to increase the gap with Rowe Racing in the overall standings and for Tresor Attempto Racing to become third overall.
With a maximum of 131 points plus 5 Fanatec Boost points to win during the four last rounds, everything is very open for these three teams: Akkodis ASP Team (Mercedes-AMG), Team WRT (BMW) and Tresor Attempto Racing (Audi).
