Double by Walkenhorst Motorsport at NLS 7
Two 6 hours wins in a row for Krognes / Giermaziak
Krognes / Giermaziak with #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 achieve the double by winning the two 6-hour races this weekend at the Nordschleife.
After Ferrari 296 #19 lead 10 laps of the 13 first laps of the race (#5 Audi lead 2 and Mercedes-AMG #45 lead 1), Krognes / Giermaziak with the #34 BMW took the lead until the rest of the race.
As #3 Falken Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R did not participate to NLS 7, with four NLS victories, the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport takes the lead of the NLS Speed-Trophäe 2023 from the #3 team.
The second SP9 PRO Walkenhorst BMW started from P22 with Niklas Krütten and Dylan Pereira to end second, 2:52.469 behind sister winning car.
Two Aston Martin Vantage in P3 and P4
P3 for Maxime Dumarey, Christoph Breuer and Marek Böckmann with Aston Martin Vantage GT3 #17 who also win the PRO-AM class.
P4 for #24 Dörr Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 driven by Ben and Phil Dörr with Nicki Thiim.
All four SP9 cars end in the same lap, one lap ahead a bunch of Porsche 911 GT3 CUP.
Despite being the fastest on track today, the Racing One Ferrari 296 GT3 #19 had to abandon in lap 33 after a contact with another car that damaged the suspension.
