As Dries Vanthoor recognized during our interview 8/24/22, he is out of contention for the Driver’s Cup. Together with Kelvin van der Linde, Charles Weerts they are 8th in Endurance Championship with Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 #32, more than 50 points behind the leading trio. They are leading the Sprint Championship and will run at Hockenheim for the team’s Cup.

AKKODIS ASP team (Mercedes-AMG GT3) is currently leading with 15 points ahead of
Iron Lynx is second and may count on two Ferrari 488 GT3 #51 and #71 to gain points for the Team’s Cup. Only the points of the first of the 2 will be added.
Rowe Racing is third, 30 points behind the leading team with two BMW M4 GT3 #50 and #98.
Team WRT is fourth, 36 points behind Akkodis ASP team. They count on two Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 to gain points in the Team’s Cup: #30 and #46 driven by Valentino Rossi.
