Matteo Cairoli (Oreca 07-Gibson #9): “That was a great weekend for us. We achieved everything we could have: pole, victory and fastest race lap. This is my first LMP2 win. When I look back at all the bad luck we’ve had this season, it makes this moment all the sweeter. We kept believing in ourselves and the team supported us excellently. Now, we’re shooting for a victory in Portimao as well.”

The pit team was great as well. We had the race under control the whole time. It doesn’t get much better than that.”

Macéo Capietto (Oreca 07-Gibson #9): “Winning a race was our goal coming into this season. We experienced a few setbacks along the way, but we made constant progress. This victory is a great experience. I’m incredibly proud of the whole team.” Source: Proton Compettion
