Cadillac will return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June with three of the newly named Cadillac V-Series.R race cars to compete in the Hypercar class for the overall win.

Heart of Racing Aston Martin #27 won overall GT and GTD class honors also clinching the GTD class victory. #44 Magnus Racing Vantage GT3 made Aston Martin’s day even sweeter with a P2 in class.

Engel (Mercedes-AMG GT3 #79) crossed checkered flag first of GTD PRO class after a fierce battle with the #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 driven by Jack Hawksworth and Antonio Garcia in the #3 Corvette Racing Corvette C8.R GTD.

With nine identical Oreca LMP2 fighting for victory during the 61st Rolex 24 At Daytona, LMP2 class ended with the narrowest of victories by just 0.016 seconds.

BMW M Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 and Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 race debut in the new GTP class were disappointing with Porsche #6 DNF, BMW #25 finishing last overall 131 laps down, Porsche #7 finishing 14th overall (34 laps behind the winners) and BMW #24 finishing 7th overall 15 laps behind the winners.

Both Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillacs completed the full 24-hour endurance race on the lead lap, with the #01 registering a P3 finish just ahead the sister car #02. #31 ended fifth.

Acura and Meyer Shank Racing – combined to score their second consecutive Rolex 24 victory at Daytona International Speedway.

And the winners are Tom Blomqvist, Simon Pagenaud, Colin Braun and Hélio Castroneves with #60 Meyer Shank Acura ARX-06.

We met several drivers during practices sessions. Here are Louis Deletraz, Kevin Estre, Rahel Frey and Maxime Martin comments.

The three Cadillacs have trusted the top 4 best laps of combined Thursday and Friday practices. Albuquerque and Deletraz were the only drivers matching the Cadillacs best lap times being second overall. 

The Rolex 24 practice this Friday morning did not see major lap time improvements comparing to Thursday sessions in LMP3 and GTD except one in LMP2.

Filipe Albuquerque did set the fastest lap of Rolex 24 practice 1 this morning. The #10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 team and drivers are chasing their fifth win in the last seven attempts, and a record-tying sixth overall win at Rolex 24 At DAYTONA this weekend.  

61 cars will take part in the 61st Rolex 24 at Daytona with no significant changes to the Balance of Performance despite almost 3 sec. between the Mercedes AMG and the Porsche 911 during ROAR qualification session!

Cadillac, the only LMDh manufacturer with a naturally aspirated engine in the GTP class, will seek to build on its legacy of success in the 61st Rolex 24 At Daytona with its fifth overall victory after winning in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

BMW M colours will do battle for overall victory as well as GTD and GTD PRO classes with many BMW Works drivers.

It was a dramatic qualifying session with Tom Blomqvist turning the best lap, putting the #60 Meyer Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian Acura ARX-06 on pole position.
